Old fashioned oats (300g)
Granny smith apple (300g)
Cinnamon (2tbsp)
Unsweetened apple sauce (150g)
Sugar free maple syrup (45g)
Egg (1 whole)
1% milk (8 ounces)
1. Start by dicing apples into bite size chunks. I prefer to leave the skin on, but adjust to your preference. Place in a bowl and set aside.
2. In a medium sized mixing bowl add oats and cinnamon and mix until cinnamon is distributed throughout oats.
3. Into oat and cinnamon mixture add apple sauce, egg, and milk and mix well. Once mixture is set, add diced apples and mix thoroughly.
4. Pour apple and oat mixture into 9×13 casserole dish and place into an oven set to 350 degrees (F). Bake for ~30 minutes or until center of oatmeal bake is set.
5. Cut into your 5 servings and enjoy as is or use this as a topping to your favorite greek yogurt. Enjoy! 🙂
